We are looking for a dynamic, independent
Account Manager
The position is based in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the travel trade activities of designated VoX clients within the Canadian market.
Responsibilities:
Development of strategic trade and marketing plan for the Canadian market
Serve as point contact and relationship management of client portfolio
Management of marketing and administration budgets
Market observation, recognition of trends and integration of activities
Develop Trade activities including planning, organization and escorting of fam trips, attend trade/consumer shows & travel trade events
Develop trade relationships and co-op marketing programs with partner airlines, tour operators, OTA’s and retail travel agency groups
Administrative duties including reporting
Product training
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ proven travel industry experience preferably in an account manager role
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
Established contacts with major Canadian airlines, tour operators and retail agency groups
A strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable plans and measurable results
Planning and lead of client sales missions
Outstanding public speaking, presentation and training skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English; French and Spanish an asset
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The ability to travel and work flexible hours
Use of a vehicle
Have a passion for the industry
